Tomah Kriskindlmarkt Invites Artists, Makers & Vendors to Showcase Their Work This Holiday Season
Tomah, WI – September 2026 – The Tomah Chamber Foundation invites local and regional artists, makers, artisans, and specialty vendors to join a new holiday tradition coming to downtown Tomah this Christmas season.
The Tomah Kriskindlmarkt is a collaborative effort between the Tomah Chamber Foundation and the Sparta Chamber of Commerce that will bring the festive atmosphere of a traditional German Christmas market to downtown Tomah. The four-weekend event will create a unique holiday shopping experience while encouraging residents and visitors to shop, explore, and enjoy downtown.
The market will feature handcrafted goods, unique gifts, locally made products, holiday treats, and other specialty offerings, giving shoppers a chance to find one-of-a-kind gifts while supporting small businesses and independent makers.
“We are creating a festive holiday market that captures the warmth, charm and excitement of the Christmas season,” said Tina Thompson, President/CEO of the Tomah Chamber and Visitors Center. “This is an opportunity for artists and makers to share their unique work, connect with shoppers and visitors looking for special gifts, and help create a new holiday tradition in downtown Tomah.”
The Tomah Kriskindlmarkt will be held at two locations: 1013 & 1110 Superior Avenue in downtown Tomah. Visitors can shop from local and regional vendors, enjoy food and beverages, experience the festive holiday atmosphere, and explore downtown businesses throughout the market.
