Tomah Chamber & Visitors Center Receives Tourism Grant from Wisconsin Department of Tourism
Local Tomah restaurants, establishments, attractions, and retailers may also participate in “Festival Fuel” promotions.
Tomah, WI – The Tomah Chamber & Visitors Center has received a Joint Effort Marketing (JEM) Grant from the Wisconsin Department of Tourism to support its campaign, “Small Town, Big Festival: The Budweiser Dairyland Super National Truck and Tractor Pull.”
The campaign highlights the Budweiser Dairyland Super National Truck and Tractor Pull, one of the nation’s premier truck and tractor pulling events, which attracts approximately 60,000–70,000 attendees each year. Held June 25–27, 2026, at Tomah Recreation Park, the three-day event draws fans from across the Midwest and beyond.
While the event has historically been a strong day-trip and camping destination, the new campaign aims to expand its impact by encouraging visitors to extend their stay and explore the broader Tomah area.
For visitors, the event delivers an unforgettable experience. Diesel-powered tractors, roaring semi trucks, and high-powered modified machines thunder down the track, creating a high-energy atmosphere filled with horsepower, smoke, and adrenaline. Between sessions, the grounds take on a festival atmosphere with food vendors, entertainment, and opportunities to explore the community.
The pull has become a multi-generational tradition, welcoming longtime fans and first-time visitors alike. Families, motorsports enthusiasts, and travelers seeking authentic Midwestern experiences gather each summer to enjoy the competition and the welcoming small-town atmosphere.
As part of the campaign, Tomah will promote the event across key Midwest drive markets, including Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, Iowa, and Michigan. Marketing efforts will focus on major cities such as Chicago, Minneapolis–St. Paul, and Des Moines, reaching potential visitors through digital advertising, social media, streaming media, and strategic partnerships.
These efforts position the event as a premier rural destination festival, encouraging travelers to visit Tomah, stay overnight, and discover the region’s dining, shopping, and attractions.
Local Business Collaborations
Local Tomah restaurants, establishments, attractions, and retailers may also participate in “Festival Fuel” promotions, offering specials and discounts during festival weekend. These collaborations will be promoted through coordinated marketing efforts, giving visitors more reasons to explore Tomah while supporting local businesses.
